1981 Monty with a factory turbo buick engine hot air blow through its in nice shape 60,000 KM we yacked for about half an hour.

It was a sorry effort to meet emission standards, It would never have been an issue if they performed half as well as their Ford counterparts, unfortunately GM did not have anyone to “acquire” that technology from at the time. As pitiful as the 305 cars were they are not nearly as shamefully embarrassing as the 267 or the HT4100 Cadillac another abomination from Generic Motors that could barley muster enough steam to get out of its own way….. Really embarrassing for a luxury vehicle!

Yep the accountants & bean counters were running GM for a while there, it was how to produce a cheap product not a quality product...JMO
