Well as I have said before I think Rich is a good guy. He is just a good old corn farmer at heart.It's the rest of that entourage that is the problem.Maybe just victims of success .JMHO.

the rest of the "entourage"???? It's his ego that is the problem, watch one of his shows just once and it is blatantly obvious that he is an ignorant cocky man who knows nothing about cars, but even though he admits it, is a dick about everything he shouldnt be

Its not a pinks all out. Its not televised. Just Rich. I've been to them all and had a good time but it looks like not everyone shares my sentiment. Seems he's a dick

I had no idea there was another Pinks All Out type of racing out there, what can I say I'm a sheltered individual...LOL...

The armdrop live races were a no tv deal that went to several different tracks. Canada could not get a pinks all out show because of tv rights issues at the hands of our tv watch dogs at the CRTC. That is why the armdrop race is really popular here and why Rich was asked to do another one even though he is done with that now.

I talked to a few guys that were at Pinks All Out stuff at Denver & Chandler , they said he (Rich) was kind of stuck up & wouldn't talk to anyone unless the camera was on him at the time. It sounds like success went the his head...JMHO

You have to consider that this is his livelihood. If I'm busy at work, I'm not always the most sociable person either. Does this make me stuck-up or just preoccupied?

Yep you got a real good point there. When I'm busy I don't like people coming up & bugging me while I'm working. But I also don't choose to seek out the spot light like Rich does. You have to expect a lot of that is your a TV personality & want to be famous or in the spot light like he dose. If you don't want the attention, just don't do it at all. "I got the info second hand so I take it as just their opinion". These guys aren't the type of guys that a star struck, seeking autographs or anything just a couple of good ol' boys from California, that wanted to say hi & he completely blew them off until the camera was following him then he stopped to talk about his show...

He changes the rules so much to the point where it becomes a joke, unfair to the racers, and he doesnt give a rats ass because his ego is so blown up, meanwhile he knows NOTHING about cars

I just do not believe Rich makes any of the decisions himself.It.s the rest of the entourage telling him what to do.He wears an earpiece and is TOLD every move to make.

what you forget is that it's Rich's TV show...and on top of that, what explains the same or even worse stupidity and ignorance of his when he does the armdrop lives and there is no camera in sight??

Well I have more respect for someone who knows nothing about cars and freely admits it over someone who knows nothing but pretends to.
Remember guys, there is one in every parking lot.
It may be riches tv show but he has to sell it to the network. If they say change it, he has to change it or they wont buy it from him.
When pinks first came out back when it was just 2 cars, people bitched thats not how racing is. They bitched about the car lengths and shit, but in reality, thats how big money street races go down in a lot of major cities including the GTA. Most street racers loved it although there were some times that Rich screwed up.

He listened to the bitching and started the all out racing. It was a hit until it was over run by bracket racers, and people started bitching again. Even Nate got fed up and left.
With people bitching again he started to make more changes probably afraid speed would cancel his show.
In every change he has made, some people love it and some hate it.
With so many different walks of life in the car hobby and so many different styles of track and street racing, no one could possibly please every one.

Personally, I would love to see him go back to the original pinks but for money instead of pink slips. My favourite one was the .net boyz vrs the .com small block posse.
That was the type of hard core street racing I grew up seeing.

I agree with R/T Kota I would much rather see the original PINKS format maybe a couple of pairs instead of just 1 pair of cars & best of 5 races format all the time, rather than the bracket racing with a 2 tenths brake out crap they are running now... I was a long time street racer from the mid 70's to late 80's for money or parts occasionally, sometime big money, but never for pink slips... The slightest mistake & you loose your whole car !  I would much rather loose a bunch of money than all the time invested, parts & a car... Now it's not worth the law suit that waiting to happen, I have too much to loose if something bad happens on a street race...

everything you said is true...BUT that doesnt excuse Rich from being a dick to just about everyone even when the cameras are NOT around
