Ding Dong the Maggots Dead, Bin Laden is dead!!!!!

Freedom of speach is a wonderful thing that most of us take for granted and might even consider it our God given right to do so, because we are born and raised with that precious gift.,. which by the way was hard earned by countless people in the course of many wars and confrontations.
Many countries are not as fortunate as most of us are and by intervening in their affairs, as outsiders, we (our people and soldiers) are put in the line of fire, ridicule and contempt.,. there is a fine line between right and wrong in almost everything, that we as people say or do.,. I believe a moral conscience should dictate what we say or do to others, so the least amount of collateral damage is caused in the long run, for the good of all.
It's virtually impossible to please everyone all of the time and such a lofty goal would be ideal in a less than perfect world.,. discussing politics or religion can be a topic with some very highly charged emotions involved and as long as the topic or posts go smoothly, no eyebrows will be raised, by the peace keeping force.,. the same logic applies to a preference for our beloved cars of different makes and models.
To each their own and THAT is also an individuals right, at least in this country, for now,,, it still is.

Tuff I agree, I think we take freedom of speech for granted at times. I should have been more respectful of others beliefs & not try to sway some one to my side of the topic. I know I'm not alone in my thinking & should respect others for their beliefs. I am passionate about my country U.S. of A. & the dismay we are experiencing, because of petty politics.  I'm sorry if I offended any one regardless of their country of origin. If it weren't for Canada, England, Australia & Israel, we would be the acting as the worlds police & saviors all alone. Ya know the funny thing about this board that i just rediscovered, here we have a thread about the death of the maggot Bin Laden and it's still here. For the most part no one is too upset with the thread. On another board that i used to post on before the baby sitter came a calling i was scolded for a thread about the very same thing and had a picture of Bin Maggot removed from my gallery too. This is why i like this board!!!!!

Yes there are too many forums out there that will ban you or lock threads for speaking your mind. Thats not really freedom of speech now is it.
It will take something seriously bad for me to do that on this forum. Everyone has an opinion, speak up if you don't agree with something.
Just remember that when you say something, you own it.
