WTF is with some GN owners????? I have been to a couple cruises and a car show today and not one GN owner would speak to me. One guy even made a comment that my T type is not a real turbo car because it isn't black . My comment to that was he should sell his black bitch and buy a Corvette so he can fit in with all the other big feeling pricks. I honestly think they won't speak to me because they are slower then me . Rant over!! Hope every one is having a great summer. Chris

GN owners can be a funny breed some times. Not all but some can give the rest a bad name. Tell that guy all their black cars look the same....wait that might be racist I always thought the T`s and ltd`s in the right trim look nicer that the black cars myself. What I could never understand is you get some that modify the car to the point where it runs in the low 10s high 9s but refuse to put in a roll bar. Then complain when they get kicked off the track.

I agree with ya that all the black cars look the same, kinda like a vette. The two guys at the show were 100% stock with all the chrome accesories that you can get for a GN. I complimented them on the shape of their cars, with no reply at all. Did have one guy walk past my car and he took a good look under the hood and then proceed to say something to his wife and just laugh. Oh well, he's probably got around 2500 tied up in chrome, and I have 5000 tied up in my engine. To each there own but don't run someones car down when it is just a different name on the same car. OK now I'm over it. Chris

I hear ya man. It's not all of them, but a lot of them are snotty mother fuckers, just like c5/c6 Corvette owners, again not all, but a lot.
Try owning a 3rd gen camaro, then you'll see real hatred/ignorance from others. It's especially fun when I blow the doors off those 'vette owners and they in turn give me the finger!
I've gotten more credit and respect from Mustang guys then fellow GM owners. True story.

That is exactly the way I feel towards the GN owners that don't like my car . We were at a local cruise on Tuesday night and I had to piss one of the idiots off. He pulled into the parking lot and I ran over to his car and started saying "Holy fuck man is that Monte Carlo ever in good shape!! What year is it? Does it have a 305 or 350 in it?" His comment to me was "Son, you should learn your cars. This happens to be a 1987 Buick Grand National, the fastest production car built in the 80's! What are you driving an import?" I walked away from him at this point saying again that his Monte Carlo was very nice. What a fucking dickhead. plus we get a cool hood ornament
Ya and when left in a parking lot the idiots turn them sideways. I would tell them about the hood ornament but I shaved mine off to clean up the front end some and to keep the idiots from breaking it off. Hope every one is having a great summer and driving the wheels off their cars. Chris

I love crashing ego's. Only I did it to a C5 owner. Went to a cruise night with the Silverado, detailed to the nuts (My paint is perfect, not a scratch or swirl mark on it). Parked next to a black C5, the guy had been washing it with Comet and steel wool I swear. But people would walk up, he'd think they were coming to him, get his chest all puffed up in true stereotype 'Vette owner style then deflate like a popped balloon when they asked the stupid kid with just a truck what kind of products I used on it, or "That can't be factory paint" etc. Then when I was leaving I wrote my name, number and a quote for a paint correction on a piece of paper and stuck it under his wiper. Just to rub it in.
