Bee hive springs? I have heard mixed reports on them some people swear by them others like Weber racing don't use them.

Weber recommends http://www.weberracing.net/p693/PAC-1201-12-3-8L-Turbo-Buick-V6-Valve-Springs/product_info.html

WELL i got half a pass in again.12.09@117.66 I'm having fuel problems. It fell on its nose at 3/4 track and 30d of retard.I notced on the way home the BL was 150 with any load at all .The only time it went down to 130 was at decel.
But I drove it home  so.
I have a new fuel pump and tank so I'll try again after changing that and some vacuum hoses.

Thats a good time for 3/4 of a run!

Do you run a wide band? 30 degrees is alot of timing for the ecu to be pulling did you hear any knock?

You know I was thinking UHOH.What are the symptoms of MAF dropout.
My MAF #'s are lower than before.Used to be 7  now are 5. It's an LT1 maf but it's pretty old
I 'll have to check it at WOT To see what it's reading.
I know I know I should be logging all that shit.
And I have a wide band around here somewhere BUT.Iguess I like flying blind

Who's chip? Most lock at 255 when you hit WOT. A blown off vacum line would create a similar type of issue especially the one at the FP regulator ask me how I know that one.......

I guess Maf Dropout was not the right term.

the Maf could be going south and still work apparently.

I'll be driving along and it just cutsout and then comes back on.

It seems to be real rich at idle also.
The vacuum line to the cannister was rotten a couple years ago and blew off but didn't act like this.

The fuel pump could also cause this.

TT alchy 5.5 chip now but I do have an extender.
Am I "stressing the 50's"
Ideas?

i think the 50s are enough to scratch low 11s high tens start going much past 60s and you need to up grade to a double pumper or external pump.
check for exhaust leaks too. these are the times you wish you had a power logger.

let me know what it was when you figure it out always good to know what to look for when I have to go hunting for a similar symptom.

And get that wide band installed makes tuning very simple could help you diagnose this too.

Let me start by saying "oldage sucks' and the 'duh' moments are far more frequent.
I got the new tank and pump installed and nothing much changed but piece of mind.
Anyway I was looking around for SOMETHING out of place when DUH the controlled vacuum leak wasn't controlled [PCV] put the line on and everything smoothed out and even the old lady said That sounds better.
I went to the office to turn in paperwork and on the way home the soon light SES flashed and staeted to run rough again FUCK.I got home and a vacuum line on the other side of motor came apart.1 of those with a nipple on in.So I will have to replace ALL the lines I guess.
Yes I did install the extender At some point I will get a new extender for my present combo it seems to work good.
Off to Texas so.
