Nice its amazing what a little boost will do, that boat looks like run too.
How are you going to get it hook!
The boat hooks great.,. instead of squatting, the rear jumps out the water and leaves a 300 foot rooster tail.,. now, that takes some serious power. :)

It will so Larry.,. the BB with all 5 main caps 4 bolt is going to be a 496, it's a Marine Eagle Block and with 7 or 8 pounds of boost, we're talking a bit over 750 cubes.,. now according to my experience, it should crank out almost 1000 horse. Add a 300 horse 3 stage nitrous shot and we're rockin to the tune.,. of open headers. The bottle is loaded and waiting, just gotta blow the dust off The 8-71 came off this boat, it had a 462 BB and made 932 on the dyno, (with tunnel).,. it still had the tunnel in the pic Verry cool Hydro tuff. My former neighbors in Pleasant Hill Ca. were Pete & Marlene Kaiser they were Blown fuel Flat Botton record Holders in a boat called "Crazy Horse" I loved the IHBA boat drags going with them Hondo was a big sponcer & Joe Piasano owner of Venolia pistons & rod & Childs & alberts rods & rings & Jp1 alum. hemi Blocks, Kieth Black, Ed Pink & Paul Phaff all of the Long beach crowd were all verry good people & helped me when I had nothing. sorry for the ramble but it brought back some verry good memories. Oh by the way I do like the 8:71 that will be a blast. Budnicks

Tuff that looks like one heck of a ride those Holley's look great on top of that bbc.
It was scary fast and I never did open it up, even when the lake was like sheet of glass.,. It had over 700 horse with the two 1050 BG gold claws. I added a 8-71 Mert Littlefield huffer and it dynod at 932 horse. I sold the boat to a guy in Michigan and he had the B@@lls to keep it pinned and he claimed it did 100 plus, cuz he crossed a lake in 4 minutes. I'll take his word for it and regardless.,. that is plenty fast on water.

That's way fast on water, I've been in a Off Shore boat 32' at 90 knots outside of SF bay, that was way fast I could only emagine what 100mph in a hydro or pickle fork would be like. Budnicks

Everything hurts after a blast (pounding) in that boat, not sure if you guys noticed seat belts in the front buckets.,. this "thing" bucked like a wild bronco and a foot of air between the boat seat and my seat a few times, made me install seat belts for safety sake. Speaking of safety, in the rooster tail pic, the two "leashes" are there , in case the engine burps and air mails the blower.,. the huffer is fastened with brass bolts for a weak link. Better to drag the huffer behind the boat, than blow a crank through the bottom of the hull, when things go wrong. The boat was too much "fun" and had to go.,. IF, I wanted to spend the next Christmas at "home" We ended up with a 20 foot American with a warmed up 350 SB, it only did 50 on the water. The wife liked this one much better.,. safer too. :)
