Very nice Buick! What are the plans for the Bu? I'm building an '81 Bu myself, hope to be driving this summer. Ralph.

Thanks. The plan as of right now, everything from the buick (drive train)will be swapped into the bu. Its a 3.8 turbo and 200r4 with an 8.5. Car will be getting at least an 8 point cage. Engine will be rebuilt and still may add a stroker crank if the funds are there. Larger turbo, IC and injectors. Will be starting the body work sometime in the next couple of weeks. No holes in the car except the drivers door, just surface rust everywhere else. Shooting to have it on the road this time next year. Going to take my time and do it right. I'll post pics as work progresses. Once the buick is stripped, it will be for sale. Its posted in the f/s section here.

I like the idea of the Malibu but the Regal is such a sweet looking sleeper.

The malibu will have more of the sleeper effect to it. Also less weight with the bu

Nice donor car. What are you going to do with it after the transplant happens. A nice 455 would look good in there, or a small block and twin turbos Your Malibu is going to make a nice car, always did like that body style. Should work good with the LC2 in it. Good luck with your project. Chris

I should take the cover off your car and take some pics. All that mud on it would blend in nicely with the dirt on the floor. Wash that damn thing already. Its only been what? 2 months since it came back from the car show?

I think the buick has a more sleeper look my self but its "its an old mans car" and doesn't fit in with the hot rod crowd.Plus Brian is a chevy man.JMO

So Brian put the 455 in the malleable .I know thats not going to happen so put the 455 in the regal and have 2 nice fun cars. Hey suffrn6 where do you live in NB. I'm from NS orriginally and spent the best part of 6 years in Gagetown.

Well let me get this malibu finnished and then see whats left of the buick. 455 with a turbo or two wold be nice in the regal. The only way a V8 will be between the fenders of the malibu is if its a turbo charged LSX
