Any advantage when installing an electric fan whether it pushes or pulls?

I would set it up as a pull fan.

Depend if you have more room in front or behind the rad.

I use both, 1 pull fan 16" for the main cooling in a shroud offset slightly to the inlet side of radiator & a push fan 13" slightly to the outlet side of the radiator, for when I'm need extra cooling for traffic or or hot days & lots of idling around, both are installed with separate arming switches & relays to keep the amperage draw at a minimum.   Budnicks

pull is much better if you have the room  no restriction from the fan

Maybe some OE fans?  I've had a couple vehicles with them now and you can't even hear them.

I think that's the answer. I've heard other after market fans that are noisy also so why take the chance on another one.

Mines a 16" Zirgo. I have a big rad so the fan rarely comes on ..but when it does It vibrates like a rock crusher. Worse part is its on a thermostat so it can go off several minutes after I leave the car....that's when the crowd gathers.

The after market one on my car is quiet. I think its a flexlite. Have to look at it.
Its doing the job that used to be done by the 2 factory fans.

You need something like 2500-3000cfm for a 300hp engine, than an extra 2000cfm for the next 300hp or so is a good rule of thumb. Over that power level it starts to get vague or a crap shoot on how much additional CFM is needed. Something like 10-15cfm per/hp total. I think it really depends on how much stop & go driving your doing.
