my '77 dodge d150 with original numbers matching 440, it's from bc and about 1 of 80 built and only 36 of them ended up in Canada

Good friend and I started to restore his dads '78 Powerwagon ( just like the one on Simon and Simon ) 8 or 9 years ago when his dad passed.  Unfortunately he ran our of steam and funds and it has been sitting in his backyard for the last 4 years untouched.  I always wanted to see that truck finished and it's about 75% done now.

That era was a great truck and easy to work on.

Bah the closest neighbor has a 78? Ford truck built for boggin built 390 with open headers, don't think he'll mind too much, and I'll get some pictures up soon, oh and it is a halfton which is what made it such a low numbers truck in 77 vey few 1/2 tons got the big block let alone the 440

yeah, re-read the post and seen it was a D150.  My freind has a 440 and auto trans we pulled from a little old ladys '68 ( I think ) Polara that he wants to put in his Powerwagon if it ever sees the road again.

I'm so jealous. 77's and 78's are my favourite year for Dodge pick ups. Love the grille and prefer the fleetside.
