Looking for a recommendation for a replacement HEI Distributor.

I bought a brank spanking new motor last weekend and I don't think the distributor running my three-oh-fried will cut it with this one.

Motor Specs below came with everything Brand New from GM ( except the heads and water-pump )and assembled by a good freind but no Dist.  Painted GM Blue to boot which will go good with my low-key stock look theme in the Monte.

Specs:

5.7 GMPP Sportsman Block 4 bolt main, steel Crank, Pink Rods, Hyperwhatever Pistons, Patriot Vortec Heads, GMPP Vortec Intake, Edelbrock Alum Water Pump, 750cfm Holley Spreadbore Carb ( I think it's a rebuilt Demon )

So running this combo, any ideas on what a new or nearly new HEI Distributor costs nowadays ??  Eventually I want to step up to an MSD System but for now I want to get it up and running.  I know my distributor will technically work but it has well over 200 thousand kms ( probably closer to 300 thousand ) on it so and it's been on 3 diff cars that I have owned without a single problem so it's probably due.

Rebuild your distributer then go with an after market ignition box.

Look into a MSD set-up

How hard is the rebuild ?  I would assume new bushings and electronics would be needed for mine.  What about a new cam gear ?

Check some local machine shops and get some quotes on rebuilding it.
