The Mustang IMO was at a disadvantage but at least it held it's own. I also disagree with them about the interior of the Camaro being better than the Mustang, at least from what I've seen.

Chevrolet does not have an SVT or SRT equivalent version of the car. Yet.
The only V8 version of the car just happens to be an SS.
What they were testing was the base V8 challenger, base V8 mustang and base V8 camaro.
I think an SRT challenger still would have came in last against the base cars.

I still havn't seen a new camaro yet but almost all reviews gave the interior a thumbs up.

The Challenger weighs in at 4400lbs and in SRT trim has 425HP

The Camaro is 3800lbs and the V8 M6 puts out 426 HP

It would still put the Dodge on the trailer

Camaro,Dodge, Mustang in that order
CONSUMER INFO 
Base price  $30,995  $30,945  $28,845 
Price as tested  $31,490  $38,270  $34,330 


The Camaro is almost 3 g's cheaper than the 'Stang and you get an extra gear and 111hp
