Pretty close actually, I got to rebuild the carb, throw the new cam in, patch up a fender, rocker panel and drivers side floorboard, put the front clip back on and it'll be road legal. Gonna try and do alot of that on this wonderful 3 day weekend, I usually only have sunday off. If I can that gives me time to break it around home, instead of two hours away from home. Need to regear it before I run it, it's got somewhere around 2.90's in it and I have a set of 3.55s I want to put in.

The '77 is my last Mopar for a while, picked up a 5.3 for the Silverado should make it a fun truck.

Shouldn't, I think when it goes to get sniffed they'll class it as a hot rod and test it as an '80 model so that's a gaurenteed pass. The only thing that'll give it away that it started life as a 4.3 is the VIN, hell if they don't pop the hood on the etest they may test it as a 4.3 who knows.

I think there is a cut off date for testing as a hot rod. 02 or 03 I think it was. |

picked up a 5.3 for the Silverado should make it a fun truck.
is the 5.3 a ls series engine? I'm thinking of putting a carbed ls2 or an ls6 in the camaro |
