Found the site last night, and have just been registered, so thought I should say hello.

My name is Jeff, I moved to Canada from the UK last September. I have been an active member of the Mopar Muscle Assoc. UK for about ten years.
I owned and raced a Pro street 1966 Dodge Coronet, called Big Red n Loud. It was always driven to and from the track, with my kids, myself and all the camping equipment, the old Dodge ran high 10's on the 1/4 mile.

I sold the Coronet before moving here in Ontario, but I did bring my 1969 Dodge A100 pick up truck with me. It is pretty mild compared to the Coronet, it is a SB powered 360ci,  my kids enjoyed racing it back in the UK. it ran high 14 sec 1/4 miles. I am just fitting a small nitrous kit to it, and intend racing it this summer.

My questions are, where and when can I race? And, are there any classes for the slower street driven cars? i.e. slower than 13 secs.  I do have plans to pep the little truck up in the future, but for now, it is not high on the list of priorities! Finding work, and earning money have to come first I guess!

Look forward to your replies,

Jeff.

Welcome to the site and welcome to Canada Jeff.
Cool truck you got there.
Where in Ontario are you? Cayuga has lots of different organizations and classes you can run in.
You should look into the OSCA. I forget where the index classes cap off at but they have an open comp class thats very popular.
Also have the pinks event coming up in July.
